Clinton is a city in Hinds County, Mississippi, United States. Situated in the Jackson metropolitan area, it is the tenth largest city in Mississippi. The population was 25,216 at the 2010 United States Census.

As of the census of 2010, there were 25,216 people and 9,328 households in the city. The population density was 598.3 per square mile (231.0/km). The racial makeup of the city was 59.4% White, 33.8% African American, 0.2% Native American, 4.1% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 0.1% from other races, and 0.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.5% of the population.

The racial makeup of the city was 74.92% White, 22.53% Black, 0.10% Native American, 1.54% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.26% from other races, and 0.64% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.87% of the population.
